We’ve loved every minute of our journey

Auburn beginnings

Our journey began in 2012 at a small gym located in Auburn, Illinois. We started with just three athletes to begin the 2012 competition season. The Small Gym, Big Heart is off and running.

Springfield - The Airplane Hanger Gym

After the first season we built the team and increased our competition numbers to 10 and realized we were outgrowing the space that we were using. In 2015, the decision was made to relocate to Springfield, Illinois to a bigger facility. The former airplane hanger had great ceiling height, but was COLD in the winter and HOT in the summer.

Springfield - South 2nd Street

As we kept growing, we upgraded to a more efficient gym space on the south side of Springfield, just off of Toronto Road. This building was much more up-to-date with great ceiling height, but that parking lot was a struggle for our growing numbers.

Springfield - Current location

After even more growth after the COVID pandemic, we decided to change locations to a much larger building, with taller ceilings and much better parking. We are now located on the west side of Springfield - just south of Target. This building suits us perfectly!
